Dr Barfield is the most caring Doctor i have ever seen..

Pleasant, listened and explained never felt rushed or unheard.

I can't recommend Dr. Barfield enough, she is outstanding as is her staff. Atrium is another story. If she would leave and go elsewhere I would go with her without a second thought. Since Harbin merged with Atrium is has been AWFUL! When it was Harbin you felt like more than a number. Atrium is all about the bottom line and getting people thru like a meat processing plant. Again, I can't praise Dr. Barfield highly enough. She is exceptional!!!

Dr. Barfield always takes the time to listen and covers everything. She doesn't rush you out the door like you're just another number. She also takes the time to get to know her patients on a personal level and asks about things going on in their everyday lives. I love that

I would appreciate it if providers could provide minor procedures rather than sending you to a different doctor/specialist to remove a skin tag or a wart. Perhaps they could clean and bandage a minor wound. The way the system is currently structured, the PCP can only council you, write prescriptions, provide referrals and administer vaccinations. They're basically like a medical guidance counselor. I think services can be improved by putting a bit more medical practice in the PCP's hands. This is my overall opinion not based on the care I received during my latest visit, and certainly not directed toward Dr. Barfield.

My visit with this provider was unhurried, answered all my questions. I left with knowledge about my issues also. Highly recommend this practice!
