I was surprised at this visit. I felt like I was being rushed into making a decision about the implant Dr Jack is wanting to do in my heart. Dr Jack is a very good doctor! When you have a chronic medical condition, the continual repetition of visits over the years to doctor's appointments, ER visits, hospitals stays, medical facilities, etc; gives you a large sample size as a patient to see/experience the pros and cons medical treatment over a long period of time. It's not all good, and it's not all bad. At times it's exceptionally good. When it comes to doctor's appointments/visits, one thing I've come to dislike is doctors speaking extremely ambitious about my condition, or what I need to do to maximize my health. I'm an intelligent person, but my knowledge isn't in the medical field. I didn't attend medical school, and using big medical terms tends not to lead to me gaining a comprehensive understanding of what's going on with me, nor what I am to do about it. There were even times when I'd ask for clarity only to get a reiteration of more medical terms, which results in leave the appointment with more question marks than I came with... I've had TWO cardiologist that were exceptionally good at comprehensively communicating what's going on with me and what I need to do to maximize my health. One of the exceptional cardiologist I'm speaking of is Dr. Godly Jack... When I leave an appointment with him, I feel confident in knowing what I need to do to take the BEST care of myself... That means the world to me... I count it as an absolute blessing!!!
My appt was an initial consultation regarding my heart. Dr Jack was very attentive and knowledgeable. He described steps for treatment that were comfortable for me to understand.
